Lansinoh is a name I’ve become familiar with, even before my daughter was born. While pregnant and immediately after delivery, I was given Lansinoh salve, to help heal my soon to be painful nipples. I was very lucky, and only needed the salve for a few days, before I was breastfeeding without pain. The Lansinoh breast pads were also a product that I kept stocked in my home, especially until my milk supply had regulated. Not once with Lansinoh breast pads, did I have a leak. And that was a very wonderful thing! I recently had the wonderful opportunity to review a few samples of Lansinoh products. Like the gel soothies pads and their new diaper rash cream, just to name a few.

I’ve had the unfortunate luck of getting mastitis quite a few times in the past few months. With the latest bout of mastitis, I was able to apply the gel soothies pad on my breast, and was instantly greeted with cool relief. These pads are also reusable for up to 3 weeks too! I think they would be great when you are first starting to breastfeed, when so many women experience pain and tenderness while their child is learning to nurse.

The Lansinoh Diaper Rash Ointment was another product I was able to try. I use cloth diapers on my daughter, and was a little worried about using it. But after doing a quick search, I found out that while it wasn’t recommended, it wasn’t a cloth diapering no no, either. I was able to use it with a piece of cotton cloth between my daughter and the diaper. The cream worked quickly, and took away a rash that I hadn’t been able to get rid of using another name brand cream!
